Sorry to hear about the shrimp. Why not buy another of the same? They're great, entertaining reef creatures.

I was planning on getting another of the same kind, just was looking for opinions about any other possible creatures i could put in there that might not be compatible with the cleaner shrimp that i may like more. The coral banded at the store are currently in his display tank with a pair of blood shrimp and a cleaner shrimp.. they've all been in there for 6 months.. however, the tank at the store is 230gallons >< compared to my 40g. However i am upgrading to 120 (4'x2'x2') this summer. what i really want to know i guess is if i put an assortment of fish in the large tank.. which ones should i put in first to help with the familiarization of the environment and to avoid territorial conflict when adding later.

If you're going to go with a reef tank cleaner shrimp are highly compatible. I've read on these forums that coral banded shrimp can get a aggressive with size.

Yeah, Sparky is right. I have a good sized CBS and he can be a little poop. So far he has left the frags alone but he loves to terrorize my condy anenome. If he gets eaten, he will have deserved it. If he gets eaten, I am getting cleaner shrimp to replace. John.
