Well, today I got to come home to shear chaos. I couldn't find my blenny. Looked all over. Then this story ran through my mind:

So I went into my brothers room, and sure enough he was there again. Dry as a bone this time, as there was no one here to save him. I am super bummed. Seriously darn near close to a few tears. He was one of my favorites, always had such the most awesome personality. I'm really going to miss him.

And to top it off the female clown found her way into the skimmer at some point today as well. Nothing really to dangerous or detrimental to the fish, but a serious PITA to deal with. Peredhil had a cool DIY cover for the skimmer overflow box I think I am going to have to steal, as this isn't the first time a fish has ended up in it.

Thanks guys. And yeah, I was VERY attached to the little guy. He was one I had for a while too. I believe he was the first fish I added after my anemone death and everything became stable again.

Ah man, that sucks. I recently lost two jawfish, so I'm going through the same. K+ for the loss. Also, I find that I get particularly attached to blennies because they have so much personality. I had a bicolor that was my favorite fish that got hit with a rock during maintenance.

But anyway, not trying to steal your thread or anything. Just saying that sucks and sorry for the loss.

Yeah, Ive lost a whole tank too. Not fun.
I'm not going to be getting anything more for a while. At least not till I get my sump/fuge up and running. I was pushing my stocking limit as it was. I think I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the lower maintenance. The blenny was actually the biggest fish by a decent margin, so there is a fairly good sized notch in the bioload that's now void. But if anything, I may pick up a few more snails to help with algae now that he's gone.
