Mushee, my favorite mushroom, was murdered

Stupid peppermint shrimp decided to eat that instead of aptasia.

This was by far the most beautiful, bright, flourescent green stripe shroom I HAVE EVER seen in my life.

If anyone has some very pretty green stripe or waermelon mushrooms, please post a pic. I want to replace mine asap, as he was the most colorful thing in the tank

I have hundreds literally stalks of aptasia. they are making a dent in the aptasia population...which had killed all the SPS in the tank.

I miss the lil guy. he was the only thing out of all my tanks I had named too. I really liked the little guy.

Did it eat the enter mushroom? If there's part of the head left with just a little bit of stomach it'll come back..if the shrimp doesn't come around for seconds that is. But sorry to hear of your troubles.

I pulled it out, it had detached itself, and it REEKED. horrible smell. a small part of its mouth and stomach were there, so I left it, but the peppermints look like they are still hungry

leave whatever is left of the mushroom in tank, cover with a piece of screen and rubberband it around the rock.. it may come back.. might take a couple weeks to see something but mushrooms are tough.
