    My betta died yesterday (he was my favorite fish). :( I've had him for about 2.5 years, and apparently bettas are EXTREMELY sensitive to copper. The entire tank was being treated for crypt, and this was week three of treatment.

    I'm sorry to hear about your loss. The marine Betta is one of my fav's as well. I don't own one of my own as yet though.

    Thank you all for caring.. It's actually been quite difficult for me. I know, emotions over a fish sounds odd, but it can't be helped..:(

    I am getting a porc puffer in the short term, and yes, I probably will get another betta in the future. He was difficult to keep happy, but that's part of the reason I became so attached to him.. This is a bummer :(
