i'm going to hold off on getting another one, changin jobs so I have to get my finances back in order, actually making a nice amount more at the new place but they pay on a different cycle and it'll be a month before I get another check, I'm actually thinking I'm going to redo the aquascaping in my nano and take some rock out, store it in 5g buckets covered in clean water for the next tank so I have some more floorspace for a clam and such in there

I saw mine this morning about 9:00 and this evening my wife said; I think the fairy died!
I replied; heck I just seen it this morning, look behind that rock! she said no it's not there!?!
Ok so there it was up against my Koralia pump, and not looking to hot neither...lol
he was abused by the doggone damsels from the first day, the moral of the story here is: If you can wait for your system to cycle you should do it w/o the stupid damsels

yeah I use chromis to cycle my tanks, their just as hardy and not nearly as agressive...

I actually tore the aquascaping apart in my tank today and found what I think to be his remains, but also found some of my live rock basically pouring out a substance that looks alot like dirt. I'm going to pickup some fresh saltwater mix from a LFS tomorrow and a new 5g bucket from home depot and probably end up vaccuming my sand too, this stuff looks really nasty, I'll take the rock that had the issues with the stuff coming out and pop it in the bucket and blast it with a maxi-jet to blow the stuff out of it and then put it back together.

I checked all the parameters though and everything is totally normal within the tank, 0 nitrate, nitrite, ammonia & phos with 8.4ph

I'll do a 20% water change and clean all the rocks off, actually highly considering taking some of the LR out as I really have to damn much in this tank anyway

Sorry, man...my 6line disappeared a couple weeks ago...i found him in the overflow...somehow he squeezed between the teeth, went for a ride through the u-tube and over the baffle...if it wasn't for my standpipe he would have been down in the sump......

Our six-line is one of our favorites. Tons of personality....He has found his way into the overflow twice, but has not done it in months and months...He also disappeared for almost 2days. Wrasses our known for creating a small cocoon around them selves while sleeping and they may miss a few light cycles...Best of Luck...
