RIP to my Sally Lightfoot

I saw my Sally Lightfoot yesterday and he seemed fine. He was eating and doing the things that he does. The only new creature I added to the tank recently is my Arrow Crab but he has been in there for a couple of weeks now. My parameters are all normal except Nitrates are at 10 and calcium is a little low. Any ideas of why he died? He was one of my favorites. I know it isn't a molt because it is the whole shell with no openings and slightly heavy. It is out in the open on top of a rock and I don't think he would have motled there!

Ok really I wasn't but the casing really had no openings so I don't know how he molted or why he molted at the top of the tank on top of the rocks. But he is alive and doing great. I love my Sally and was upset to think he was gone!! I am so happy. :sweethear:sweethear:laughings:trampolin:yelrotflm:laughings:clapping:

 

ok how weird. I go to edit out the spaces so all the smiles show up and there are no spaces when I go to edit. Oh well you get the idea!

 

LOL My sally is pretty cool also......and growing like crazy....I would hate to lose it.
Those molts can fool ya though!
