I have a 22 gallon cadlight so there are 3 sections in the back. I need to buy a skimmer so i was wondering what i should do. the place where im going to place the skimmer is about 2.80 inches thick. so, the aquatic life 115 skimmer is 3" thick. Should i just buy that skimmer ( http://www.3reef.com/forums/3reef-radar/aquatic-life-internal-mini-protein-skimmer-115-a-58383.html) or should i buy the smaller one and be safe. i would just buy the smaller one but i heard great things about the 115 so i dont know what to do. does anyone have any experience with either of them?

    thanks,
    ryan

ps: remember one of the sides of the section is made of acrlyic so i can bend it a little.

pps: this is the smaller one i was talking about sorry : http://www.marinedepot.com/protein_skimmers_current_usa_fission_nano_skimmer-ap.html

    Good day,

I have run the Current Fission skimmer...and removed it from the system...not at all happy with it! Send me $5 and I'll mail it to you to try if you wish.

As for bending acrylic about 1/4" over a 10" span...it will probably break before bending that far...

wait what? im confused... what are you saying 10" span? haha sorry im a little slow. are you saying that i will be able to bend it that much or not?

    thanks,
    ryan

edit: ooooo are you saying that the acrylic is 10 inches long and it will break if i bend it 1/4 inch? and the actual huge piece of acrlic is actually 24 inches long
