Well as u no, im setting up a 15g so im going to start buying the filters, pumps,ex. i want to keep sps so im getting the reef keeper lite 3 to help monitor/control things to make my life easier. i was wondering if any one baught the DA float switches to plug into your RKL and use it as a ATO. How does it work and how do u set it up to make it more clear for me cause i dont fully understand, im sure i will have to buy a pump for it right? here is a link to the float switches im talking about Digital Aquatics Double Float Switch Kit w/ Mounts. Do u just plug it into a slot right into the copmuter part of the rkl or do u run it through the plugs and set a timer?

I have the DA float switches. I have mine plugged into the SL1 SWA port. I am using an aqualifter on one of the PC4. When you program you set the port to "switch" and then you tell the PC4 to turn ON when SWA is closed (in my case) and OFF when SWA is open.

It isn't hard to do, but I too had a hard time locating this info. The DA forums are pretty good for random programming help.

If you have any other questions about it let me know.
