I might be anal, but your holes aren't the same distance in from the sides. I'm afraid to grind glass still.

Thanks! It is a painfully slow build to be sure. I really hope to have them cycled by my birthday in March.

Yeah it isn't for show just function so I guesstimated the placement.
So was I, that is why they've been sitting there for a couple months. lol It's really not that hard. Biggest thing is not to rush it and let the bit and weight of the drill do the work. Once you see the water start dripping on the inside slow way down to avoid huge chip out.

I am a firm believer of "Pics or It Didn't Happen". A video would be best so we know there wasn't any editing.

First of all Sir Steve...ROFL @ another great sig!

I could take a pic of the internal fit however the overflow is only on the tank for cosmetic purposes at the moment. But hey at least I was think of you and decided NOT to do video. It was fun setting and beating the timer back to the tank to look like I was working LOL. (shoulda had my ball cap on though!)

    Thank you Reef Monkey

As another proud member of the over 40 and impersonating Friar Tuck fan club, I say dont worry about the lack of cap
(unless your working outside in the sun, in which case, do worry about the cap)
