I was going to suggest punchy, but I'm not sure that would be original. Nice mantis dude.

Take a closer pic of it, my friend! Maybe I missed something, but is it in his new home already? Did he hide quickly?

    LOL. Bustin' Bucky

Named him that cause Wenneraes submedian teeth protrude. Ya know? buck toothed? LOL

Yes he's in the tank and when I left he was digging a hiding spot behind the rockwork. I'm sure once he adjusts and figuires out I'm his best new friend I'll get to see more of him. :)

I know it's hard to leave them alone. Last night when I introduced the YWG and PS I kept checking for them. I'm glad I'm at work right now because they'd surely just about have a heart attack if I were home!!

I never have dripped animals before. Especially inverts sent in the mail. But seeing how I'm a mantis noob I was just doing what the collector told me to do. I usually clip the bag to the side of the tank and after 15 min or so I begin the 'cup' method. But no matter. It appears to have turned out well.

Got home from my shop and I thought Bucky had passed on. He was laying on his side and didn't move at all when the light hit him. Plus he was away from the dug out he'd. So I started removing rock to get to him and my wife comes in and asks what I'm doing. I tell her them mantis died, she points and says 'isn't that it right there?' Sure enough, there he was scratching at the front of the glass. God I'm dumb sometimes.

So after carefully putting the rock back I got to watch him for a minute. He walks like he's drunk because he's missing his left raptoral appendage and a couple little legs up front. I hope they grow back after a couple molts.
