    Super!

Bucky in action! Or should we call him "Mr. Buckster" ? Nay... to small still for being a mister. And speaking of that... were you able to determine whether Bucky's a boy or a girl?

    I mean... what if it's "Becky" ?

LOL Well I'm no mantis expert but if I followed Stepho's and Jwins instructions correctly I'd say he definately is a he. ;)

Schackmel had a peacock named Bob. Everyone thought it was a male because of how colorful it was, until it had a clutch of eggs.

Great progress buddy! Good to hear he is doing good, and getting braver as he grows... on a side note mine is slightly smaller than Bucky still and was about a quarter of Bucksters size when I got him! Like seriously he wasn't much bigger than some of the Mysis I was feeding him...

Sorry I missed so much, this thread moves really fast lol...

Thanks Blaz! I'm over my new papa worries. LOL He's doing real good. He's made a permanent den under the rock he came from in the video. The main exit is again where he came from, he has another that goes into the open or down the tube if he wants.
Your tanks gotta be cycled by now bro! LOL get your little guy in there and get a thread started! LOL ;D

More good news that your over the worrying stage!... as far as my tank being cycled, turns out my kit for ammonia and trite were bad (about 4 years old)... so I have been cycled for a few weeks now. I just realized this tonight, after I tested and the result was the same, aqs it has been for a few weeks now. I tested my main DT and it tested the same result! Good news and bad news at the same time!....

So with that being said I think I might do a WC tomorrow... do you think I should wait till the day after the WC to add the Mantis?

I've been looking at some mantis myself. I also like the Wennerae or the Smithii. They seem to be the most active and colors are pretty.

Who knows.... I may end up joining the club eventually. Approximately how much is one of these guys with shipping included? ... you know... approximately, I know there's no way to calculate, but what's the maximum I could spend on a small one?

PS: reefmonkey, I really didn't get to take pics of my sps today. I will sometime this week. I think that while some of them are doing fine, a few of them are going bye bye.... and these are not from the rubble bin.... that's the worst part.
