LOL I've never really had a problem with mine. And actually I think it was just eating the shed from the 'stool but it's the fact that for 3 days I'd flick it off, move it to other parts of the tank, etc. and everytime I'd look in the tank it was back up there irritating the coral so....

LOL. Yeah I'm getting a mantis for basically the same reason I love to watch NASCAR...the cars themselves are boring it's the wrecks I always look for! LOL
No I'm kidding. I've read they begin to recognize thier keeper and the surroundings outside of the tank. Appearently they will also study you as you study them. It'll be fascinating to watch a creature that appears to be contemplating me.

I noticed for the first time that your 46 BF and I share a birthday. PISCES PISCES PISCES!

I'd have to be pretty lit to try and pick it up. Since I haven't had a drink in years I guess that won't be happenin. No he (or she) can stay on one side of the glass, my hands on the other lol

    LOL
I'm with you there....well my hand can be in there just don't want it getting too close to my fingers.
Many of my fish/inverts do hand feed (including a puffer, a green spotted puffer, that's only about 3.5" big) but I don't want that particular beastie to, just in case it decides I wasn't fast enough or generous enough with the food.

Thats very cool! My fish won't eat out of my hand but my yellow tang will let me give it a scratch with my fingertip.
