    The dual inline TDS meters are limited to two sample points so you are reading the RO only TDS (IN) and the final or RO/DI TDS (OUT), not the tap water TDS. 11 could be perfectly normal depending on what your tap water TDS is. My IN is 5 and my tap water TDS using a COM-100 handheld meter is 650 or higher. 11 may be a little high but it will probably go down over time as the membrane becomes more seasoned.

    i actually just ran it for an hour and it did drop to about 5, thats good news.
