    Replace the prefilter and carbon. If that does not do it replace the first di cartridge.

    yes but are the ones from BRS able to go in with out voiding the warranty. (still has 2 years left on it)

    when i start this 29 gallon tank up since it will have frags in it eventually i want to start on the right foot, its why im not rushing to its completion right now.
    like i did with my 55 fowlr (big mistake of rushing i will admit i was a newb)

    Don't buy the BRS replacements!!! They are not the same quality and will not return the performance of the original Spectrapure filters.

    The MaxCap has 4 TDS readings, what is the reading of each in order Left IN/OUT to Right IN/OUT?

    Have you confirmed the inline meter readings with a handheld TDS meter? What is your water temperature and water pressure? Did you take the time to measure your waste and trim the capillary tube flow restrictor accordingly? What is your exact measured waste ratio?
