    I have my rodi unit set up in my garage and my question is is there any tips to keep it from freezing in the winter how do you guys go about it.... Or am I just dumb for putting it there... Because I really dont have anywhere else to put it

    You could disconnect the unit and bring it inside. Hook it up when you need it. Oooor make/store a bunch of RO/DI :)

    I guess that will work didn't really want to move it guess I will have to..what about as far as water sitting in it is it bad for it?

    You could wrap it with an electric heat tape and insulation.

    I'm not entirely sure. I'd imagine if you sealed the water, it would be fine.

    Do you have a laundry room where you could install a wye on the cold water line to the washing machine?
    I wouldn't take a chance on it freezing, that could get real expensive real quick.
