RO/DI Unit recommendations?

    Wowsers! Thats like a commercial or large scale ultra high end unit there. With only a 55 gal reef and an average incoming tds of 130ish, I think i'll just stay with my cspdi 90gpd unit,haha! Thanks for satisfying my curiousity though.:)

    It is actually based on their large scale commercial system they told me.

    Unless GAZBOs friend owns this particular unit,would you agree with the advise I gave on the "standard"' units ratio?

    Absolutely.
    The recommended waste ratio for a normal RO membrane is 4:1 in most cases. When you try to reduce it the membrane does not get flushed well and fails prematurely. So called "flush kits" do little to nothing to help and have no proven or documented value other than to lighten your wallet. Keep the waste ratio where it should be and you will get maximum membrane performance and lifespan. This goes for any manufacturer or vendors system.
