    OK,
So I have a RO/DI unit and the waste water goes to a tube that go outside the house. Yes, so now this has frozen as it is below freezing

Knowing that this is bad, what does everyone in the cold areas do for this ?

The system will drain up to 3 gallons a day of waste water.
Can I just drain this into the septic system or is that too much water ?

    Cheers

its just water, your talking about adding the equivilent of 3 to 4 toilet flushes a day, should not hurt the septic at all. my unit included a saddle clamp that allows you to tap the waste directly into any waste drain under a sink.

    thanks all
I was worried as I read about too much water in septic can be bad and did not want to cause an issue.

I dont have the right size clamp so I can drill into the pipe and silicone it for now. That should be ok too, correct ? this is not a pressure pipe, right ?
