No it can do 90 gallons of RODI water under the specifications listed on the box to get that rate.

You will get less if your water is colder or your pressure is lower than the specs but the water will come out just as pure either way.

They use the same parts as everyone else. What magic fairy dust do they sprinkle on theirs to make it better?

Agreed on the parts. The difference is the filters they come with, but you can obviously change these out (and need to anyways). I just replaced the filters on my BRS unit with Spectrapure filters ;)

I believe you guys :) I just heard what I said on the site once. So it will make 90 gallons of clean water a day?

The Spectrapure membranes are specially treated with a proprietary process to improve their GPD and rejection rate then tested for quality control unlike any other manufacturer or vendor. It is proven to work better.
Besides that they also are one of the very few vendors to use more expensive, higher quality absolute rated sediment filters and the only one to custom blend every ounce of their DI resins in house based on tens of thousands of hours of real world testing.

There really is a difference and it all adds up to higher performance and lower cost of ownership and operation. And yes they produce 90 GPD of treated water at 4:1 waste ratio, 77 degrees F water temperature, 60 psi incoming pressure and 250 TDS softened tap water. If your pressure or temperature are lower the rate will be a little less and if either or both are higher it could produce more than 90 GPD. I get 120 GPD at 99.43% rejection, 95 psi incoming using a booster pump and 63 degree water temp and the membrane is over 4.5 years old.

Again, there is a difference and just because they may look the same does not mean they are. Best $125 you will ever spend I guarantee you. BRS and the others are standard off the shelf assembled parts with no extra engineering or tesing so about average, better than the ebay type systems though. Love their chemicals and media though and they need to stick with what they do best.

    So,
    They Anion boost their resins:
    FAQ FOR REVERSE OSMOSIS

Other vendors test and QC their membranes. They are not the only ones.

I have 98.86% rejection. Always putting out 2tds. I have been using the same DI cartridge for over a year and it's only have used half of it. Off the shelf Filmtec at 50-60psi tap pressure depending on the weather.
