Some pics would be nice. Did you install the membrane the right way(flow direction).Have you tested your exit water with a TDS meter? When was the last time you changed the other filters? Is the water supply valve fully open? Have you checked the exiting tube(may be clogged)? Some R/O units have a reducer valve, check if its clogged. Sounds to me like something is clogged. Luna

Does your system come with a back flush option. If so give that a try.

From my understanding of water production through a filtering system, the two main factors are water pressure going to the unit and temperature of the water. The colder the water the less production. Now, in your case, either the pressure is really down or you have an obstruction.

thanx for the replies its a typhoon5 from air, water, ice I have changed the 2 filters in the middle and the membrane the 2 filters in the middle was changed a few years ago the DI filter still looks good its still black {the last filter on the end} I changed the membrane about 5 months ago and to start with it produced water pretty quickly but lately it just drips....i've sent water.air.ice an email but I have'nt heard from them yet...I dont have a back flush unit I have taken a couple of tubes loose and washed them out but did'nt seem to be stopped up....was wondering about the i'm sure of the abbreviation of it {AVO} something 4 tubes run thru it reckon it can get stopped up???

That "box" with 4 tubes going into it is a shut off valve. Basicly what it does is to stop the water flow to the unit so theres no dirty water flowing. What Im trying to say is, without it, you could have the unit not producing clean water, but water still flowing throw it. I hope I mad sense. Luna

yes I understand just did'nt know if that could get clogged or not i'm try to make water now its been running for about four hours I might have 2 1/2 gal. now used to it did'nt take too long.....I have a tap water filter but I need a cartridge I might just order one and use it til I can figure out whats going on.......I always turn both hot and cold water wide open for the RO/DI filter I may wind up having to order that piece that ups the water press.

Unclejed made a great point about pressure, but I dont think its that. I think you would have noticed a drop in water pressure in your house first. I still think that you have a clog somewhere. If you have the time, I would take the unit apart and look everywhere. Good luck and keep us posted. Luna

Do you really mean 2 years ago? The "Filter Guys" suggest every 6 mos. and the DI hasn't turned color? Something is amiss.
