    The unit I have;

    0PPM Portable 50GPD Reverse Osmosis RO+DI Water Filter - eBay (item 380146794855 end time Nov-04-09 14:42:46 PST)

    Mounted vertically and water coming out of the unit 0ppm, been using it next month for 1 year

    Still there are so many units out there and each says how great they are and blah, blah, blah.

    We want 0ppm as the result, you will see many people chime in with what works, again we need to look at what we want to get out of it, and there are many units that do the 0ppm, IMO, why spend 2-3 times what you need to.

    My units is rated for 50 gallons a day, I have a 75 gallon, I use 50 gallons a month not per day.

    A good TDS meter is very nice to have, I got mine for 35.00 and its a 2 stage in line, I check incoming water slide a switch and it tests out going.

    DUAL TDS METER (DL-1)

    Many opinions out there-

    Good luck with your choice but do some reading. I dont think one needs to spend 125-250 dollars on a unit. I have read pages of threads that support that therory.

    Nothing mentioned even comes close to Spectrapure units.
    Spectrapure is also a Sponsor of this forum and beter yet is having a huge Customer Appreciation sale found here:
    SpectraPure Customer Appreciation SALE! 20% - 50% off

    At $149 the Pro Plus is hard to beat and the MaxCap is the Cadillac of the industry by far. Its all I use anymore and I have had 4 or 5 RO/DI units over the last 19 years.
