    When I planned on doing this I had flex copper piping like you Horton, that stuff isn't good for tapping into I had to just use the sink attachment, it sucks, but it works.

    go to home depot look in the plumbing isle for the compression fittings there in lil bags brand name watts..... get a 3/8"x3/8"x1/4" compression tee looks like this [​IMG] but it'll have a chrome nut that will thread onto your stop valve then put use stainless supply on top and ur 1/4" supply to ur R/O unit out the side. its the same thing used to tie an icemaker line in.

    NP just remeber the one use looking for is chrome i cant remember the model #

    and one more thing, when u tighten the breaded supplys with the rubber washer in them DO NOT over tighten them, cuz they will leak and be trash turn them till they start to snug the maybe a quarter turn more. . . . turn ur water on and if it leaks tighten more then. if u crush that rubber gasket then there worthless.
