im in the market for a RO/DI unit and was wondering if it is possible to connect them to a tap or do they have to be in line? also, could i connect it to my washers cold water input and the waste water outlet? i live in an apartment and would not be allowed to cut pipes so i have to look for a non-permanent solution. any input or other solutions would be much appreciated!

I have a SpectraPure 90gpd unit that I hook up to my kitchen faucet when I want to make a bucket of water. It comes with the hose adapter that matched the python vac adapter that was already screwed onto my faucet. Most all units can be hooked up this way if you can't plumb it, as I rent an apt. also.

Here's a link to a sale for SpectraPure units, which I'm very impressed with. $145 for the 90gpd unit is a sweet deal (includes pressure gauge & dual inline TDS meters): SpectraPure Customer Appreciation SALE! 20% - 50% off
