    hello all that read this well got a question well i got an ro unit no di just ro well any ways if i use it to filter water for my tank do i have to add any supplments since it filters out the water 99% well that what it says thanks for any help:confused::confused::confused:

    All the trace elements etc that are needed will be added by the salt mixture that you use if that is what you are referring to.

    For the most part yes. YOu only need to add other things if you have items in your tank that require extra! For instance clams like extra calcium so you should add that. Other things like extra of other. Make sure you reseach things before adding them to your tank so you know what they need to survive!

    Your Welcome....^ Agreed. On the initial makeup of the water you shouldn't need to add anything to it but depending on livestock like cannedmulder said you will need to keep up with certain elements such as calc, mag., alk. etc. It's all dependent on what livestock you intend to keep. Remember to take it slow and research research research. Good luck.

    ok cool well my tanks been up and running for like 6 months everything is fine water is good just got the ro unit and was just wandering thanks again for the help
