The steel tanks are a RO pressure tank and should not be used with RO/DI water as it will cause problems with the rubber bladder.

There are a lot of options out there depending on how much you want to store and how much you want to pay. I find U.S. Plastics to be a good source of information Home | Plastic Tanks | Plastic Buckets | Plastic Bottles | Labware | Plastic Tubing | PVC Pipe | U.S. Plastic Corp. as is Aquatic Eco Systems Aquatic Eco-Systems: aquaculture, lake, koi pond and aquarium supplies and even Northern Tool Sprayer Tanks | Sprayers | Grounds Maintenance | Northern Tool + Equipment .

Cool, thanks for the info AZ, actually looking at this 25g one. Trying to decide if maybe it's better to have a smaller footprint though in case the pump goes above water: NorthStar Spot Sprayer Tank — 26 Gallon Capacity | Sprayer Tanks | Northern Tool + Equipment

Ok, I've whittled it down to a few different container designs, looking for some opinions on what you think would be best. They're all in the 20-25g range & all will be modded to just have one opening on top:

#3 takes up the least amount of real estate if you can deal with the height. That would be my option and similar to the 23 gallon rectangular can I use which fits in a corner nicely.

Yeah I'm leaning towards #1, #3 or #4. The only thing about #1 is I'm not sure how stable it is, like it looks like it could easily be rolled maybe. I think I can get them all in black also which will be more discrete.

Ok it's a death match between #3 & #4. The taller one is 20g the more square one is 26g. Hmmmm
