I'm looking for a good but reasonably priced RO system. Does anyone know a good one. Also, I have an in-sink-erator filter already in. It doesn't do RO but it reduces chlorine. Should I use water from this until I get a better filter?

I don't know a good RO system, cause I don't have one but wouldn't recommend using your tap, even w/ your filters, unless you test it first. test for Phosphates, Chlorine, Copper, and even Lead. just use RO from grocer or LFS until you get your system

I know using tap water is a cardinal sin and i'm ordering an RO/DI system as soon as I figure out what a good one is.
Luckily, my town has very good water quality for tap water. There is no copper piping, its all pvc and i've tested it. Soon I will improve to at least RO and possibly RO/DI

    I got the Typhoon 3 75 GPD from airwaterice.com
I'm happy with it, but I wish I would have spend another 80$ for the 150 GPD. I guess it really doesn't matter too much once it's set up and all , but if you have a big aquarium it sux waiting days for the water. (Filling a new tank that is).
Plus it would just be nice if I needed the water faster. Anyway I read a lot of threads that said stay away from the cheap ones like on Ebay.
One thing with their flow rates some people say it's misleading... because the fine print is that it's assuming you're using a pump to push water through faster.

I think mine is accurate as advertised with normal faucet pressure.
    I paid 185 clams.

The pump is only used when you dont have the right pressure in your home. I beleive the norm is 60 psi. Luna

Forgot to mention the Typhoon comes with a TDS meter to test the water..

And .... it has an automatic shut off valve ... you will have to buy this float valve($13)to go in your sump storage container.
    Float Valve

Makes it easy for topping off.. Drill a hole in your sump and bada bing auto top off.

I know that, but I'm saying some of them have misleading stats where they use pumped through numbers vs. household pressure.
