Hey everyone. i got some of these on a rock with some zoas. i think they are rock flower anemones. I was wondering if they pose the same risk as other nems, with wiping out your tank? i never planned on getting a nem for that reason. are these the same? i did some reading, most places said they are very easy to care for and don't really sting things but said nothing about toxins. k+ for any advice.

Pointed tips, looks like a rock nem to me. Better if someone would back me up on this though. I am not certain.

I thought they were alright to have. But once again, I am not sure on what would happen if they die. Technically I guess you could say yes, it would nuke, depending on it's size. In the same way, a large carpet nem or large coral/fish would nuke if not decomposed by other inhabitants or taken out after death.

Well it kind of depends on how big it is. Im no expert but if that thing dies it could do some damage. If you didnt really want a nen. In the first place then i would remove it hope somebody else can chime in

well they are pretty small and from what i've read seem to be very easy to keep. I'd prefer to not kill them so i think i will put them into the tank and see how it goes, unless anyone knows a reason i shouldn't. k+ for the replies
