    .5ppm is really high for phosphates. You should also test your tap water for phosphates and see what that gives you. This will determine how bad you really need to think about buying a RO/DI water filter. If your tap water is low in phoshpates, your most likely overfeeding.

    If you can get your phosphates down to a reasonable level this will help with your aglea problems considerably.

    thank you guys so what would be a ok price for one of those filters and what do u think a top of the line skimmer might be worth?
