Just setting up with my first tank. I have LR in a formation that I wanted to try and achieve. During the cycle the sand around the back side got pushed due to the position of the tank pump. As a result the LR formation is now leaning on the back glass and also the corner piece, the rounded plastic piece where the plumbing is. So, my question is this something I should correct, or leave it.

Another question is how sturdy should the LR be in the tank. I really love the configuration, but know that it's just rock sitting on rock, so concerned it could get bumped, yea I now fish arent that strong, but stuff seems to happen as I've learned with the leaning.

Is it should be studied, what do people use? I saw that putty stuff in LFS and on the Internet, but not sure how that looks.

    Thanks

If the rock work feels steady to you then it should be OK. The putty can help but will look out of place until it is colonized with bacteria and coralline algae.

Many folks lean their formations against the tank.
