ok, heres my second question. The guy that i bought my tank from had 60 lbs of rock laying in his back yard for 2 years so i took it from him. this is what i did to it, i have a 2700 psi power washer so i hit the rock with it and knock off everything that i could see then took a stiff brush to it and hit it again with the power washer. i then soaked it 15% bleach for 2 weeks. hit it with the garden hose for 30 mins, let it dry in the sun in plastic container for 5 days. let it soak in ro water for a week, changed water every 2 days then let it dry in the sun again. its setting the the plastic container now until i have my tank ready. my question is did i do this right? and is it ok 2 use, or through it away. thanks for any help my last reef tank was set up 15 yeasr ago and ran until my doughter came by when i was not home and took it

It sounds to me like you did a very thorough job cleaning the rock and should be fine to use in your tank.
