Silicone is a good idea, perhaps some sort of UG filter built in?

Any further thoughts as to the lighting? I ask because if one side has a different color/intensity to the other, what will that do to the balanced look? Don't even know if it would be that big of an issue, just something most people dont have to think about because most of us are lame and only have one tank. ;D

I ended up buying four Aqua Illuminations Sol Blue units for the SPS tank. I am going to be using my Solaris for the other tank. It won't be as intense, but I should be able to match the color pretty well.

    Updates for today:

    - I have some chromis coming in to put in the SPS side of the system
    - I also have an Indo-Pacific Sea Farms critter shipment coming in
    - Sand going into fuge and sand area in sump
    - Receiving shipment of my 100g water change tank

    For tomorrow:

    - I'll be plumbing in my ATO
    - Painting the exterior pipes
    - Plumbing in water change tank
    - Setting up light timer for fuge
    - Finalizing drawing for display tank lighting - this is going to be REALLY different (and expensive and pretty darned cool looking) - I will probably have most fabrication done in two weeks.
