Ouch, sorry to hear of the accident. Glad to hear that you are relatively all right.

WOW! I just read all 46 pages, and needless to say I'm very impressed. I am just starting my own small setup, but from what I've seen you're work puts alot of "professional" installers to shame. I will definitely be subscribing and keeping up with this thread.

I wish you a full recovery on your accident, that is if you haven't already.

And when your ready, am always interested in DIY Kalk reactor's and well DIy stuff..

    Best of luck..

The issue with those setups is that they aren't sustainable. I mean they stock them right up with no break-in, they use treated tap water, they overstock them to no end... the list goes on.

    UPDATE:

Unfortunately nothing that's pic-able. Tighe came over and we finally got the Apex up and running. Everything isn't hooked in, but we got almost everything in the fish room connected, including hooking in the fan to the temp sensor.

We also took the opportunity to clean up all the wiring. We ran it up to the ceiling then over to the Neptune Power Bar. No more tripping over wires!

We also put a drain into the RO holding tank so I can fill it without worrying anymore about it overflowing (which it has done a few times :) )

I was driving a Prius. I got a nasty cut on my forehead that took about 15 stitches to close up. I lost consciousness and bled all over the car. I won't know for a little while, but chances are the car is totaled.

Since I don't have any pics for the update of my tank, here is one of an amazing view from our balcony of the fog rolling in across the bay and up through Berkeley.
