    The answer is:

I can get this shot (and thus see the coral in its full glory) only by standing on a three step ladder!

I put the coral in its spot as a temporary placement. I didn't expect it to acclimate so quickly and start growing like it did. The next time I looked, when I was ready to move it, it had already slimed over the nearby rock and I didn't feel right moving it. Hopefully it will grow into a spot where I can enjoy it without pulling out a ladder! :)

The camera problem is a white balance issue due to all of the blue coming from your lights. Use a photoshop program that has a "color enhance" mode that you select a spot that is supposed to be white, click on that spot and the program adjusts the color out. I have to do that all the time with my photos.

    Congrats on the awesome growth.

I just got off a Skype call with the guy putting together the control unit for my auto water change system. He demo'd the operation of the unit all the way through, including the error conditions.

I'm going to start a thread in one of the main forums on the unit - though I can't share too much right now - and I'll be looking for beta testers there.

    I'm pretty stoked!

Here is a pic of the front panel - not much to look at, but there it is!

That's great news, Rocketman! That looks top notch.

I'm still interested in being your guinea pig.
