took the rodi apart to route some filters, and change some lines that were a little short form one side of the sink to the other.. long story short, I dont know if the permeate pump is hooked up wrong, and the ro membrane might have the same problem.. I have zero flow. anyone have a diagram of the routing to and from membrane through permeate pump???

the membrane housing has a single connection on one end, then there are two connections on the other? help.

    Post some pictures.
What brand of system is it and what membrane did you install? Some systems are no tstatndard such as Whirlpool, Sears and some Watts Premiers and a standard 1812 membrane does not work in them.

The connections for the membrane housing are found here:

its an membrane housing and permeate pump from air water ice, then I took it all apart and added 6 10" housings that go like this..

5micron prefilter -> GAC -> 5 micron Carbon block -> 1 micron prefilter -> 1 micron carbon block -> ro membrane -> tank/faucet/DI cartridge. was working before today, however I did notice a decrease in performance. I had about 2 lbs of air in the bladder tank, so I bumped it up to ten when I changed things. i changed the membrane about 3 months ago with the same filmtec 50gpd.

he said there is no auto shut off valve on this,
AZ would that not make it run waste water all the time?
all drinking water systems i have seen have an auto shut off so when the faucet is turned off it shuts down the incoming water and waste flow.

One thought to narrow down the problem, is to plumb it with out the pump and see if it produces water, if it dos then the pump is bad or not connected correctly if it doesn't then the problem lies in the membrane or its connections.
