    You can loosen the DI canister to let the air release if it's bothering you and as soon as the water gets close to the top retighten it (I did :) )... either way it's not going to change the performance of the filter. What is you water pressure?

    You just have some air trapped in the DI housing - won't hurt anything, but may mess with your ASOV working if you have one.

    As Russ said you probably have air in the system.You can release the trapped air in the DI canister as already explained but you can also pick the RO/DI system up in your hands and rotate it around in all different orientations while it is running to release trapped air inside the membrane housing too. This often helps and you can hear the air travelling around until it is released.
