    I thought the black is usually the drain/waste line? The yellow usually goes into a storage tank, and the blue is the output line.

    black=water supply
    yellow=drain, waste water
    blue=final clean water

    Black is the water supply, yellow is waste water and blue is good water at least on Spectrapure
