I have a reef tank for 7 years. I always use DI water < bought that filter from my local LFS store>. Now I'd like to buy RODI unit. What brand you guys think is the best. I see a lot of diffrent 3,4 unit filters. Please help me decide. Thanks.

Spectrapure is considered the best. AZ Desert Rat will chime in and give you the best suggestion on the unit. You will want a 4 or 5 stage unit for the best water and efficiency.

The refurbished units on sale for $120 and a handheld TDS meter for $25 should have you up and running in no time.

Others you might want to consider are the 75 GPD Premium from www.buckeyefieldsupply.com , the Optima series from Freshwater Aquarium Water Filters Reverse Osmosis Booster Pump GFO Nitrate DI Carbon or maybe the Reefkeeper from Melevsreef.com - Welcome! .

I use Spectrapure myself and find they are the best value due to their superior performance, DI resins seem to last forever for a big long trem cost savings.
