Recently I bought a orange stripe prawn goby. I couldn't get it to eat. Tried alot of different foods and techniques. Rods was the only brand that worked. Problem is its caused some unwanted algae on the sand floor. I am very careful not to feed too much.

When I feed, I turn off the power heads and feed with a turkey baster.

I've been feeding exclusively with Rods for a few months now. And I feed 3 times/day.

My tank of hungry fish don't let anything get to the sand though. No algae to speak of.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I feed Rods as well, but now my YWG will not eat anything else and I only feed Rod's every 3 days. Used it once and have never tried another brand.

I won some Rod's on Saturday, the inverts love it but the fish are a little picky about it so far. They wouldn't even touch the Pacific Plankton, but they did pick at the blend some. I expect they'll get more excited about it soon?

When you feed, do you keep the powerheads running?

I can't get Rod's in Tallahassee so when I was in Tampa visiting my parents I picked some up from a great LFS there. Everything in the tank loves it! I think I might have to make more trips to visit my parents.

My fish do love it. So do my corals and inverts. I think I'm going to get some more snails to help with the algae growth.

I never turn my powerheads off, ever. Unless I'm feeding my LPS at night, which tends to be once a month.

My tank is packed with hermits and snails, however.
