Think I'll be ok with no skimmer on the 20?

with frequent water changing and having you test for nitrates regularly you should be ok...
adding more fishes and corals i'd recommend you do add in a skimmer...

I'm going to keep it slim. No corals at all other than my feather duster hitchhikers but they are resilient and lived through my cycle lol. Thanks for the help. I'll try to upload some pics tomorrow. I've been moving it all day and am waiting for the dust to settle so I can add the fish

Also, just an FYI - If you feed your fish from a net... they are VERY easy to catch haha. Just dropped some food in the net and BAM, fish captured! lol - Tank is set up. Still have a lot of water in the 55 so I am going to call it a night since I am exhausted, but will finish the cleaning and setting up ATO, ect, throughout the week.

Oh and if you need some fuge stuff and are near San Diego, check out my thread in for sale (its freeeee)
    Thanks for the help!

Well here she is all cleared up. I like the look a lot! Got a cool spiral effect with the rockwork. So far all of my livestock made it ok.

One question though... How should i protect the float sensor from getting tripped by a snail?

Hey roger nice 20 gallon you got set up now. I really like the rock scape, sorry to hear about your other tank im sure your next upgrade will just be even better with more experience in hand. What filtration are you using for the 20 gallon? and we've spoke about the algaes, I can take them all since my skimmer just died on me, i plan on making a better refugium. i'll send out some extra cash for you for your shipping cost. Thanks a bunch!
