Regardless if its being nipped at or an infection, The torn fin can become infected. Just keep that in mind.

There might be some other products out there that people might like besides melafix and pimaflex. They are slower acting remedies.

 

^ Agreed. If it becomes infected from getting nipped, you're going to have to treat it anyway.. Might as well treat it now and help it heal clean if it's not an infection.

 

So which Protein Skimmer and what lighting should I buy?

I can get the good stuff but I don't want to over do it for a 90 gal tank
