My ICU patient didn't make it through the night. The other one however, this morning was very active and I fed it a little. Hoping at least one recovers.

Yeah, I was skeptical for the one. I think I waited too long to quarantine them.

 

that is so sweet that you rubbed one down - I understand the connection with our fish - they are our pets just like dogs and cats - definitely one looks like it's struggling more than the other - I can't give you any more advice than what you're already doing - like I said before they are pretty hardy fish so hopefully they pull through. Yeah he was cool he will be missed. The other is recovering nicely so far. Today I managed to get my refugium back online and consider it a water change since I added water volume to the whole system. Skimmer and Reactor are still offline for now.

 

oh no! I didn't realize you lost that one so sorry to hear but good news that the other is recovering! congrats on getting the fuge in line!

 

Yeah I lost one. Everything else is coming along nicely. The other Engineer will be able to go back in the DT by mid week.

 

Update, the remaining Engineer is back home in the DT. The Skimmer is back online. The refugium is back online. Have to go find some cheat for it now. Replaced the carbon and GFO. Now battling GHA in the DT a very bad case of GHA. Perhaps tomorrow I will take the toothbrush and clean as much as I can and change the filter sock. The battle begins.

 

Sorry for the loss rolo. I know the battle of GHA all too well. A toothbrush will be your best friend, try a nice ergonomic one

 

Might have to get a Sonicare toothbrush to handle this outbreak LOL.
