Hey guys, first of all these forums are great and everyone on here very helpful and friendly so kudos to all. I was reading posts here for a couple of months and finally joined up. Having said that here is a pic of my first SW set up. It is a FOWLR 6 month old, and I am new to the hobby as this is my first tank ever. All the tenants (listed in my signature) have been there for about 3 months no problems other than a pepperminth shrimp suicide 2 months ago (found him under the lights on the glass cover, have no idea how he climbed all the way there). I was just wondering if anyone has any insight on my equipment (also in signature) and if i need to change or add anything. All the water parameters are fine except nitrates that hover around 10 to 20 and have been like that for the past 3 months. Thanks in advance.

cool. I like the conch shells. good job! I would absolutely think about getting some sort of skimmer. And refugiums are very nice to have when battling nitrates. Good luck!

For those of you joining us that are new to the hobby - the best piece of advice you'll get around here as a saltwater newbie is 3Reef's slogan

And for those experianced hobbyists joining us - it's still good advice :p
