    Hello all,

I have a Rose Anemone and it keeps trying to crawl behind the live rock. Should I be concerned? Any help would be greatly appriciated!!

How long have you had the anemone? They sometimes hide until they acclimate to your lights. I wouldn't try to move it becasue you might hurt it...

Anemonies go where they want and there is no rason to ever have to get to him they don't need to be fed by hand and if the animal wants more light to feed its self then it will move about to find it.. It will go where he is happy.. They never stay where you want them ):

I had one once that was in a hole in a rock looked like jello in there until he opend up then he was about 1/3 as wide as a 135 gallon tank.. He had to go..

I got a Gold Strip Marroon Clown and he seems to be better now. I have left the MH off a little longer then normal and that seems to be helping. Thanks for your response!!

I am betting that Maroon clown will coax that anenome out in the open, and they will become best of friends.

I agree with Tangster, that anenomes rarely go to a spot you would like. And will be no need to feed, especially with the clown about.

    Good Luck. ;D

Ahhh, the wild stallion. I have a RBTA (Rose Bubble Tipped Anemone ;)) Those little buggers will move around on you. Eventually they will find a place they like though.
