I bought this from one of my LFS and was told it was a Rose Bubble Tip Anemone and that it would regain its color in a stable system after a while. I thought twice before buying it, but really wanted a RBTA so thought i'd give it a shot. What do you all think about its coloring? will it come back? is it really a rbta?

EDIT - By the way, it moved slightly from where I first placed it, but has stayed where it is since and seems to be a voracious eater. mostly frozen brine

    Thanks
    Mike

The funny thing about RBTA is that they can look green just like my GBTA looks red. Your RBTA looks good and healthy. My GBTA look mor like a Long tentical anemone now.

Under the actinic lighting it does look very green...as well as under the blue moon lighting. With the MH on it looks more of that brownish color you see in the bottom picture. It does seem very healthy "to me" in appearance other than that lack of color I was hoping for. I also have a purple cony that is beautifully colored!

I've had one for about a year in my wifes 20 long. It grows and shrinks on a regular basis. Remember it only has one opening for eating and releasing. :)
It also has the ability to move, if it is being irritated where you placed it.
