So, the guy who I do pretty much all of my trading with is trading me a Royal blue Favia and Teal and purple Lobo (both have 2 heads) for my purple tipped hammer. I have yet to keep these corals and was wondering what experiences you guys have with these corals. I read a bunch of care sheets online. I don't know what species they are though, the guy doesn't know either. Can you guys share some info and experiences with the favias and lobos? I saw pics and they are both beautiful! Doing the trade tomorrow evening. I tried looking for the species they are but can't pin it on which species because I only have a couple Iphone pics to go by. lol

I have experience with favias and love um. They are kind of slow growing, but they only need light to survive. I occasionally target feed, but it isn't necessary.

Like all LPS they have certain requirements for Cal, Mag, and Alk, but you should be familiar with that because of your hammer.

One thing that should be noted is that if you place them too high in the tank, they tend to lose their color. I have mine on my substrate or about 2-3" from the bottom of my 46g bowfront
