O.k since you are going to try one and you say you are adding more rock first, you can probably catch the Tang. Before you add the new rock, you have the oportunity to try the "stick and large net" method or the "two net" method. I wouldn't disturb that nice mound with the mushrooms and GSP. Don't tell me that is where the Tang hides! Anyway, I have caught my Tangs and others using the stick and net. Use the stick to get in spots it may be hiding and when it dashes out have the net there. You have to stay calm and it may take awhile.

I think those pics are with actinic only? I would like to see the mushrooms in the "daylights".

I Ment a YT as in a Yellow Tail Damsel :( Not a tang. My bad. And the sad Part is, that nice mound of GSP and purple Mushrooms is where My YT Damsel Hides. The ONLY spot it hides.

I have both and I havent had any problems. Neither fish has shown any aggression.

I love that grouping! It looks totally natural. It figures the damsel would pick that place to hide. You still might try the stick/net approach.

Katie, I have had my RG since the beginning. I call her Grandma.;D
She has her little zone and yeah she'll defend it but that's what all baslett's do. Just don't put another baslett in your tank or they will kill each other. It's definitely a good idea to get a small one. Your rocks don't look like they have many hiding places and crevices. These are important with most fish. Those blue mushrooms can get out of hand and start stinging other corals so be on the lookout for that and good luck. You'll be fine.
