my RG ate at least 3 of my peppermints, maybe more. I caught him once doing it and a few times Id find it with antennae sticking out of its mouth and no more shrimp...

I also had a medium sized skunk shrimp mysteriously disappear in the same time period... I strongly suspect the RG ate it.

RG is in the same family as groupers... and those are definitely invert eaters... It isnt much of a stretch to imagine RG doing the same thing.

psuedo and royal gramma are pretty different? My Royal Gramma doesn't even look twice at my two cleaner shrimp. Pretty sure this is a safe one. My Gramma got added after the shrimp; not sure if this made the difference?

My shrimp weren't that small. The cleaner was probably 1.5" tail to head, and the peppermints 1.25" tail to head. The shrimp were the same size as the fish when I got him... he grew fast.

Psuedochromis and RGs are different but my shrimp eater is definitely a royal gramma. Maybe he thinks he is a psuedo?

My pseudo bothers my inverts, but I haven't seen my RG even look at them. I don't have any shrimp, but....

I'm scared the 6line is going to be too mean to your firefish. Here's what LA says: Though generally peaceful, the Six Line Wrasse may act aggressively towards peaceful Wrasses and other easily-intimidated fish, especially if inadequately fed or if its habitat is void of places in which it can hide.

But I don't have any personal experience with 6lines.

excellent point. you paid a pretty penny for that very docile firefish. I would consider both a gramma and a 6line as moderately aggressive. I had a firefish at one point but it starved bc said 2 fish would not let it eat.

You'll need to focus on other peaceful fish to protect that firefish.

I had a Blackcap basslet eat 2 peppermint shrimp within a day of putting them in the tank. I wouldn't get it if I had anykind of shrimp or was thinking of getting any shrimp.
