Royal gramma won't come out of rock :(

    hi recently bought a gramma, had him for about a week now, and he won't come out of his rock? is this normal for this kind of fish??

    Yes it is, as long as it comes out for food it will be OK.

    A week is a bit long for you not to see it at all. Is it eating? I would check the rock if possible to make sure he did not get stuck. Your RG could just be hiding, but just to make sure 8)

    Yes, some take a little longer, especially if you have larger more aggressive fish. Usually they get used to the feeding routine and start to show more.

    mine decided after two weeks he was hungry. came out of his hole.

    not seen flow (named from finding nemo) eat yet, its been a week im guessing she scared of another fish in me tank, tryed putting some food next to her hole, shes defo alive still.

    Im sure if shes starving she will come out soon, well i hope :)

    Royal Grammas are pretty shy even after they've been in a tank a while. It's not unusual to have them hide away for a long while after introducing them to the tank.
