I REALLY want a royal gramma for my biocube 29 reef but I hear they can be bullies. Any experiences? His fellow inhabitants would be...

    1 occ. clown
    1 bangaii cardinal
    1 YWG

    thanks.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
My favorite fish, I have never had an aggressive one. They have usually been very shy initially for me. I think it would make a nice addition.

Should be OK, they are more bark than bite. Very shy at first.

One of my favorites as well. Don't worry if you don't see it for a couple days. Then it will slowly get less and less shy. Took mine about a month before he would come out when I was around the tank, unless I was feeding of course. He darted around at the speed of light eating nearly all the food before any of my other fish had a chance to see it! LOL. I've never had any aggression issues with a RG either.

completely agree, I've never had a bully royal gramma in any aquariums we've set-up. I think ppl run into issues with them when they mix the gramma with something like a bicolor pseudo. In which case, one of them is gonna have a bad day/week/yr/life.

My royal gramma bullied my copper banded butterfly at first, but it was all bark and no bite. Now they ignore each other.

My Royal Gramma is one of my favorites. I am not sure how it could be aggressive
