    If you have logged into your account since you had it plugged into the banned Xbox, you should be okay. I think the issue is more of a problem if you buy a used HD and plug it in without formatting. If it has a banned account on it, and you happen to log in, you can get your x-box banned.

    People may be able to call M$ and get their account re-activated. I guess it all depends what it was banned for in the first place.
