I bought this bucket about 3 months ago. Is this the new salt all the hype is about? It does say Nitrate free and Phosphate free. Is this it or is this the older stuff?
Since I started using this I have had amazing coral growth if this isnt it and there is a newer better version let me know. I want the best. thnx all

I think that is the older stuff, new stuff is supposed to have black on the outside instead of red.

Could be co-incidental. Salt is pretty much salt, some will have a higher content of say Cal as that one does but since a lot of us dose Cal to higher levels anyway it is a mute point, however, if your tank was running on the low end of the Cal spectrum, then I can see the salt helping out your tank more.
